FNBE had the honor of celebrating D-Day with the Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum and sponsoring the presentation of the display of The Longest Yarn.

What is The Longest Yarn? It’s a traveling exhibit of hand-knitted, three-dimensional dioramas created in recognition of the 81st anniversary of D-Day. The display features scenes from the 80 days leading up to the Normandy landings and the liberation of Paris

What makes it truly remarkable? Each piece was hand-knitted by contributors from around the world. This powerful exhibit will be showcased at prestigious museums — and we’re excited that Cape May made the cut!

We are proud to continue honoring D-Day and supporting the remembrance and recognition of our military members through our ongoing partnership with NAS Wildwood. Check out their website, https://usnasw.org/, and visit them this summer season!
