Any Questions?

How Can I use FedNow® or RTP®?

Common uses include direct deposit of paychecks, transfers from other participating financial institutions, and moving money between digital wallets.

Can I send payments from my account?

The First National Bank of Elmer is currently not sending payments using FedNow®/RTP®. You can only have money deposited at this time, and the payment must be sent from a financial institution that also participates in this program.

What’s the difference between FedNow® and RTP®?

FedNow® is operated by the Federal Reserve. The Real-Time Payments (RTP®) network is operated by The Clearing House. Both networks allow financial institutions to move money instantly between businesses and individuals.

* We can accept Real Time Payments and FedNow® Payments to your checking, savings, and Money Market accounts. However, such payments cannot be applied to The First National Bank of Elmer loan products. Transmission of funds through Real-Time Payments (RTP®) and FedNow® are only available between accounts located in the US. This applies even if you are receiving a payment on behalf of another person. All persons who send, receive, or benefit from an RTP®or FedNow® transaction must also reside in the US. Transfers of money you receive through RTP® or FedNow® will generally be available immediately upon receipt of the funds, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Although The First National Bank of Elmer does not charge fees to receive, the sending bank could charge the sender a fee.
